Welcome to the Megacity - Bienvenido a la Megaciudad

The greatest machines of humanity are those where it lives and interacts. Cities are delicate machines that require extreme precision in order to function and be livable for humanity. If a small mechanism fails, the entire city system can crumble from its foundations. While this is a reality, the premise proposed by the Manga de Blame! it's an even more chilling one.

Blame's world! It is one where humans lost control of the city and it has grown so much that humanity has been brought to the point of almost extinguishing it. The Megacity has grown so much that it has swallowed up the earth and gets its energy from the sun (probably). In this uncontrolled city where what remains of humanity survives in an artificial environment where life has developed in its own way giving rise to the so-called silicon beings, life born in the artificial spaces of the megacity.

In the midst of this city chaos (and reality) the manga follows the adventures of the silent (too silent) adventurer named Killy (or Kiry) in his endless search for network connection genes, genes that were lost thousands of years ago and that allowed humanity to control the city. In his infinite journey full of violence, silence and dangers, he will interact with the diverse beings that inhabit the megacity where he will be with companions and enemies.

The atmosphere in the manga transpires loneliness, entire pages show us only Killy walking aimlessly in a search that seems eternal, the dialogue is almost non-existent in its pages but it is full of spectacular battles against enemies in unimaginable ways.

Certainly the story is not its main strength, it develops in a confusing way, where it is not easy to follow it, but if you like to investigate the plots and that they do not give you everything fast it is something that you will like.

Blame! It is a manga that exotically shines for its art and drawing. The author Tsutomu Nihei studied architecture and fully develops his imagination in the manga, taking the most unlikely superstructures that he could think of, and he captured them there in a spectacular and impressive way.

A recommended manga for those who like unbridled action, the art embodied in the drawings of mega structures that capture beautiful and terrifying landscapes from a rich imagination along with elements of science fiction that although they are not the most important and remain somewhat apart, they enrich a titanic world.
It is not a work made to reflect like Lain, where it makes us explode the head, rather, it exploits the head with its drawings and sequences in which we have to analyze to know what rays occur in what we are reading, the narrative style is very flamboyant but enjoyable.

Lo mismo pero en español

Las mas grandes maquinas de la humanidad son aquellas donde vive e interactua. Las ciudades son delicadas maquinas que requieren de suma prescision para poder funcionar y ser habitables para la humanidad. Si un pequeño mecanismo falla todo el sistema de las ciudades puede desmoronarse desde sus cimientos. Si bien esto es una realidad, la premisa que nos propone el Manga de Blame! es una aun mas escalofriante.

El mundo de Blame! es uno donde los humanos perdieron el control la ciudad y esta a crecido tanto que se a tragado a la humanidad al punto de casi extinguirla. La Megaciudad ha crecido tanto que se a tragado a la tierra y obtiene su energía del sol (probablemente). En esta ciudad sin control donde lo que queda de la humanidad sobrevive en un ambiente artificial donde la vida a se a desarrollado a su manera dando lugar a los llamados seres de silicio, vida nacida en los artificiales espacios de la megaciudad.

                                                   

En medio de este caos de ciudad (y realidad) el manga sigue las aventuras del silencioso (demasiado silencioso) aventurero llamado Killy (o Kiry)  en su interminable busqueda de los genes de conexion de red, genes que se perdieron hace miles de años y que permitian a la humanidad controlar la ciudad. En su infinito viaje lleno de violencia, silencio y peligros interactuara con los diversos seres que habitan en la megaciudad donde se hara con compañeros y enemigos. 

                              

El ambiente en el manga transpira soledad, paginas enteras nos muestran solamente a Killy caminando sin rumbo en una busqueda que parece eterna, el dialogo es algo casi inexistente en sus paginas pero reboza de batallas espectaculares contra enemigos de formas inimaginables.
Ciertamente la historia no es su fuerte principal, se desarrolla de manera confusa, donde no es facil seguirla, pero si te gusta investigar las tramas y que no te den todo rapido es algo que te gustara.

                                        
Blame! Es un manga que brilla exóticamente por su arte y dibujo. El autor Tsutomu Nihei estudió arquitectura y desarrolló completamente su imaginación en el manga, tomando las superestructuras más improbables en las que podía pensar, y las he capturado allí de una manera espectacular e impresionante.

Un manga recomendable para quienes les guste la acción desenfrenada, el arte plasmada en los dibujos de mega estructuras que plasman hermosos y terrorificos paisajes provenientes de una rica imaginacion junto con elementos de ciencia ficcion que si bien no son lo mas importante y se quedan un tanto aparte, enriquecen un mundo titanico. 
No es una obra hecha para reflexionar como Lain, donde nos hacen explotar la cabeza, mas bien, nos explota la cabeza con sus dibujos y secuencias en los que tenemos que analizar para saber que rayos ocurre en lo que estamos leyendo, el estilo narrativo es muy extravagante pero disfrutable.
